Kate Broughton Illustrator
Kate Broughton is a full time designer/maker based in Nottingham. Her illustrations are inspired by wildlife, holidays, allotments and cocktails.
She makes a range of products including prints, stationery and accessories from her illustrations.
Kate has always made things; as far back as she can remember she has been drawing, painting, sewing, knitting and a whole lot of other stuff besides. She grew up next to the river in a town called Otley in West Yorkshire where she did a lot of walking in woods, paddling in rivers, and bird watching. This is where her love of wildlife began and since then it seems to have been a prevailing influence on her work.
Kate graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2004 with a degree in textile design, specialising in printed textiles.
Amanda Colville Mangle Prints Greeting Cards
We now have in stock a lovely selection of Amanda Colville's Greeting Cards
Amanda uses an old washing mangle as a printing press.
Amanda lives and works in West Norfolk. With the wilds of
the Cambridgeshire fens on one side and the beautiful Norfolk coast on the
other. Amanda says it is hard to ignore the rich tapestry of fauna and flora
that surrounds her. She is often fascinated by the beautiful elements of design
that occur in nature, whether it is a bird’s tail feather, an intricate
butterfly’s wing or the veining on a leaf. Very often though it will be a brief
visit by a little bird or insect to her garden that will inspire her work.

NEW Rebecca Vincent Artist - Greeting Cards
NEW Rebecca Vincent Artist - Greeting Cards
Born in Lancashire, Rebecca studied Fine Art at Oxford and Newcastle Universities before becoming a professional artist specialising in printmaking. She is the founder of Horsley Printmakers, a printmaking studio in Northumberland. Her etchings and monotypes of the North-East landscape have deep, glowing colours and delicate textures. She uses a wide range of hand-printed marks to convey the patterns of fields, hills and hedgerows. In Rebecca’s hands, the landscape undergoes a stylisation process that clarifies the pattern of fields and hedgerows into an almost abstract pattern of intersecting shapes.
